My Baby Standing

At 16 months and 12 days, my baby is still not walking. So we are all very thrilled at home to see that she's learning to stand now without support. The longest period she could hold herself up before losing her balance was 10 seconds last night. And each time she fell, she picked herself up and practised, over and over again. She was so proud of herself, I could see. And she was enjoying her trials and tribulations too.

Perseverance, risks-taking, having a good sense of humour and an ability to look at the bright side of things are traits we can all learn from our children.
