Charlotte's Web
Zerlynde: How old is Fern?
Mummy: I think she is 9 years old
Zerlynde: I want to be Fern
Mummy: Okay, then you must eat lots of vegetables to be tall like Fern
Zerlynde: Titi is Wilbur
Mummy: Oh! Ok.........
Zerlynde was introduced to Charlotte's Web when I read her a short story from the Charlotte's Web series for little children. She was so enchanted by the story. Not 2 weeks after that, I chanced upon the DVD at a videoshop and bought her a copy as a surprise. She was so happy!
I think she must have watched it 20 times since. The first night, she watched it 3 times till she dozed off in bed.

I wanna watch this!!
Oh! Zerlynde and Zuwern have been fighting over which DVD to put on everyday I had to insist that they take turns. Zerlynde loves her Little Mermaid, Charlotte's Web, Barbie's, Maisy, Angeline Ballerina, Little Einstein, Strawberry Shortcake whereas Zuwern's all-time favourites are the few Sesame Street ones featuring Big Bird. He gets all so excited whenever he sees Big Bird I wonder why~
Other favourites of Zuwern's are the range from Bear in the Big Blue House and Blue's Clue. And he can sometimes be persuaded to watch Wheels on the Bus and Teletubbies which he has since outgrown.
Luckily, Zerlynde too likes Sesame Street and Blue's Clue. They also share a favourite in Classical baby which in my opinion is one of the best baby programmes yet!
And I almost forgot, Barney is quite often acceptable to both.........
Love You Forever
Last night before we went to sleep, Zerlynde cupped my face, looked into my eyes and said,
"I'll love you forever
I'll like you for always
As long as I'm living
My baby you'll be"
A big thank you to Robert Munsch for his incredible book "Love You Forever"!
Zerlynde and I have both been making up our own tune to this song. I think she'll be so extremely thrilled to listen to Robert Munsch's original version when I visit the site with her tomorrow....

Jane Austen's Persuasion (2007)
Finally, I managed to steal some time off from the kids to watch Persuasion. It is really good I couldn't get enough of it. Wish it's 4 hours like Pride & Prejudice. Where do they find dashing chaps like Rupert Penry-Jones to star in all these romantic dramas?! And how come they don't make men like that anymore in this century?!
